Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated November 4, 2026
We do not sell your personal information, and we never receive your audio or video. This page covers your rights under the California CCPA/CPRA and similar US state laws, including how to opt out of ad sharing.
The short answer
- We do not sell personal information. We have not sold it in the past 12 months.
- We do not collect or use sensitive personal information, and we do not collect your file contents.
- When ads are active, Google AdSense may use data about your visit to show you ads. Some state laws call that "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of it below.
What we collected in the last 12 months
- Identifiers such as your IP address, collected by our host when you load a page.
- Internet activity such as pages viewed, browser type and referring site, through cookie-free analytics.
- Approximate location (country or region) derived from your IP address.
- Anything you choose to put in an email to us.
We use it to run the site, understand what people use and show ads. We share it only with our host, our analytics provider and, when ads are on, our ad provider.
How to opt out of sale or sharing
- Turn off ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
- Opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance choices page.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser, or use a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal.
- Or email contact@example.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share". We will note your request and ask our ad provider to limit the processing of your data.
Your other rights
- Know what personal information we collect, use and share.
- Get a copy of it, and have it deleted or corrected.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use any).
- Not be treated worse for using any of these rights.
To use them, email contact@example.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. An authorised agent can write on your behalf with your written permission. We reply within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time.
Minors
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
